Hainan International Micro Film Annual Competition collected 8023 works

The first Hainan International Micro Film Annual Competition, which was launched on January 6 this year, has so far collected a total of 8023 works, setting a new record for similar competitions in China.

According to the reports, after the deadline of the activity, a total of 8023 works from 30 countries and regions were collected by the committee.

The relevant person in charge of the committee said that the largest international micro film exhibition in China is the international micro film exhibition of Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival. On March 28, 2018, the 3rd Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival microfilm exhibition was held in Haikou, a total of 7,300 pieces of work were collected. With the increasing international popularity of Hainan, the first Hainan International Micro Film Annual Competition has marked a new record of works collection in similar competitions.

The reporter learned that the first Hainan International Micro Film Annual Competition implemented six rounds of review in total including three rounds of preliminary review before the screening and three rounds of voting by the judges after the screening. Then 100 judges will vote for the final winners. After the deadline for submission, the six rounds of review will be launched soon, and the award ceremony will be held in Hainan in late December.
